The Sudent Nurses in Action Program of the Nurses & Nurse Practitioners of BC (NNPBC) is giving 1 BC nursing student the opportunity to see leadership in action by attending the Canadian Nurses Association board of directors meeting in Ottawa on November 9th & 10th, travel dates would be November 8-11th.
This will give lucky nursing students the opportunity to learn about nursing leadership as well as a networking opportunity.

There is a 150 word written portion saying why you want to attend the board meeting and how you will use this opportunity to further your nursing practice and improve nursing as a whole in Canada.
Current Opportunity On November 9 and 10, 2018 the Canadian Nurses Association will hold its Board meeting in Ottawa. One B.C. nursing student will be chosen for this opportunity.
The NNPBC is also offering free membership until the end of 2019.
As they are just building their foundation, they want feedback from us! If you sign up for a free membership, you will have the opportunity to give feedback on what programs and services you want to see in the association. Starting in 2020 the membership will be voluntary. Membership will give you the opportunity to sit on committees, vote in elections, participate in network & social events, contribute to policy development and attend international nursing events. They are also one of the first organizations that offers membership to student nurses.
